Vid genomgång kunde man se och känna att bina hade hittat ljungen även om inga större mängder dragits in än. Högsommarvärmen verkar vara på gång så nästa vecka hoppas vi på ett mäktigt ljungdrag. 400 m från kuporna har vi drygt 100 hektar ljungmyr så det finns plats för många bin.

Under förra årets varroatest noterade vi att vissa samhällen verkade rensa ut drönare ur kakorna då antalet tomma hål verkade öka. Vi såg också att de samhällen som hade drönarkakor med många hål också hade lågt antal kvalster i kakorna samt lågt nedfall.
